Overview
In the course the students acquire basic knowledge about the different types of hardware elements available to use when performing mechanical design. Skills that students already in the mechanics and strength of materials applied in the course to provide an introduction to the use of a computer-based calculation tool, a so-called finite element-system, in which the basic calculations are performed.
